Family Law Litigation and Adoption

Our firm has a history of zealous advocacy in family law and adoption proceedings. We know the stresses caused by divorce, child custody, child support, and visitation disputes. This area of the law is dynamic. We stay abreast of the constant changes in laws and regulations affecting employers, insurers, and individuals. We are fully prepared to litigate employment disputes, but we also offer risk management advice and training to minimize the need for litigation. Our experience includes claims of wrongful termination, claims for race, national origin, gender, age and disability discrimination, and claims pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act and Family and Medical Leave Act. We advise clients regarding company policies, procedure manuals, employee handbooks, record keeping, and all other facets of compliance with state and federal employment, discrimination, and wage and hour laws.

Health Law

The firm's representation of healthcare providers, in addition to its corporate and employment law services, includes risk management advice for hospitals, nursing homes and physician practices as well as development of hospital, nursing home and medical office policies and procedures. We provide counsel on a variety of medico-legal issues, including state and federal regulatory matters; training for professional and other medical staff on these issues; and litigation support.

Public Policy and Governmental Affairs
