At
Watson, Spence, Lowe & Chambless we have reached our sixth decade
of practice. Through the years, we have grown, learned and changed
– and we have endured – having never lost the respect
we have for the law, the respect we have for our clients and community,
and the respect we have for each other. From the beginning, Watson,
Spence, Lowe and Chambless has remained committed to being fully
prepared to serve its local, regional, national and international
clients. We are proud of our accomplishments and our tradition of
superior service, enthusiasm and dedication to client satisfaction.
The firm was founded on March 1, 1948 by Stuart Watson and Paul
Keenan in a three-room office over a dress shop on North Washington
Street in downtown Albany. Although the firm remains rooted in downtown
Albany, it provides specialized legal services throughout Georgia
and extending to the national and state capitols before the legislative,
judicial and executive branches of government. We represent large
and small private corporations, governmental agencies, non-profits
and individuals, including financial institutions, agribusinesses,
product manufacturers, insurance companies, hospitals and other
healthcare companies, transportation companies, professionals, professional
associations, and estates.
We
are deeply committed to metropolitan Albany and to Southwest Georgia.
Our partners, associates and staff are involved in leadership positions
in all aspects of the community, including charitable organizations,
civic clubs, organizations for the arts, political parties, state
and local Chambers of Commerce, local colleges, schools and school
boards, and area churches.
Our long history gives us the experience and confidence needed to
provide innovative legal solutions suited to our clients’
diverse needs. Our core philosophy ensures that we leverage our
knowledge and experience for the benefit of our clients as we continue
the tradition of providing superior legal services.
